Two Author Signings at Bob's Beach Books

Diane Hammond, author of "Going to Bend," will be signing her new novel, "Homesick Creek," from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 6.

Diane Hammond's "Homesick Creek" brings readers back to Hubbard, Ore. and its heartfelt cast of characters, creating another episode in her chronicle of this evocative Oregon coastal town.

Anita and Bunny have been friends since high school, and they think they've seen it all. Bunny is a single mother when the handsome Hack Neary came on the scene after Vietnam. Anita and Bunny were both surprised when Hack chose Bunny over the beauty-queen runner-up Anita. Anita marries high school sweetheart, Bob, who has never amounted to much, although he's certainly a one-woman man with a heart of gold. Hammond is fast becoming the literary chronicler of life in the Pacific Northwest.

I'd love to hear from you
